With this in mind, we slimmed down the tables proportions and added a very contemporary grey gloss finish. Our grey gloss dining tables have such a warm and tactile look while also being such an easy finish to clean and maintain, making it ideal for something as often used as a dining table. To clean the glossy surface, all you need is a soft, damp microfibre cloth. Do not use any harsh chemical based cleaners as this will potentially damage the surface- water will do just the trick. For cleaning up the more stubborn or greasy marks caused by food and drink, use a mild detergent like washing up liquid. For the best results, try to wipe up any marks and spills as soon as they occur. Once you've finished cleaning, give the grey gloss surface a quick wipe over with a dry cloth to remove the excess moisture.

As with any table surface, we always suggest using placemats and coasters as this just gives the glossy table surface that extra layer of protection against scratching and general wear and tear.

As with all of our dining tables, this piece is delivered unassembled. We do this to make the products as streamlined as possible for transport, ensuring that it gets to you in great condition. In this case, all you need to do is fix the legs to the table top, being sure to protect the surface when the table is upturned. The table will come with full assembly instructions and fittings.

What's really clever about this Zen table is the engineering of the frame. The legs are a V shape with a cross bar at the top, rather than the legs just poking out from the table top. This keeps its simple appearance but does so in an elegant and thoughtful way. Adding the underframe gives this modern dining table a stylish design feature alongside a ton of extra support and stability.

02. Comfortable And Roomy Design

A rectangle is one of the most common shapes of dining table as they fit so easily into a range of interiors. This is because generally, they reflect the shape of the room. This, paired with the spacious leg design means there is plenty of room for all the family to comfortably sit at the table, without the table legs getting in the way.

04. High Shine Glossy Finish

Julia loved the grey gloss finish on our existing products and thought it was the perfect colour to add a really modern look to the Zen table. The layers of gloss are applied in 3 coats and are dried for 24 hours each to ensure a hard finish that is highly reflective. The table is then polished by hand to really perfect its high shine. Grey gloss is a great style choice as it has all the qualities of white gloss, being wipeable, durable and reflective, but in a softer on trend tone.
